The Gîte

Our gîte is a former barn attached to the house. The interior is a contemporary living space comprising of an American style kitchen/dinning/living room, 3 bedrooms (double, twin and single), shower room and two toilets.

The open plan living/dining area, with seating for 6 people, overlooks the garden; it has a wood burning stove for those cooler autumn and winter evenings. We also have a family sized television, with a DVD player and a selection of films in both French and English. Books, board games and outside games/toys are also available.

The open plan kitchen is fully fitted and well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, electric oven, induction hob and a family sized fridge/freezer. All crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are supplied. Electric heaters are installed in all rooms and two electrically heated towel rails are located in the bathroom.

Outside there is a private garden with a barbecue, dining table (seating up to 6 people), large sun umbrella and sun loungers.

If required, we can also provide, free of charge, a travel cot, bed linen, bath, potty and highchair for younger guests.

Cleaning products, the hire of bed linen, bath, hand and tea towels, together with 25 units of electricity per day are included within our rental price. A further supply of clean bed linen is available at a charge of 5 Euros per bed.

Regrettably, we are unable to accept pets or any other animals and smoking is strictly forbidden in the gîte.

As all the bedrooms are on the first floor, the gîte may not be suitable for people who have difficulty in climbing stairs.
