Welcome to la Maison des Fleurs

Situated in the National Park of the Plateau de Millevaches, la Maison des Fleurs is an 18th Century farmhouse in the hamlet of Bunleix. The Plateau de Millevaches covers an area of more than 3,300 km²; it is one of France's main water sources and a conservation area of outstanding natural beauty.

Bunleix is in the department of the Creuse, which together with the departments of Correze and Haute Vienne form the region known as the Limousin; one of the most sparsely populated and rural regions of France. Unspoilt and pleasantly situated away from the hustle and bustle of modern life the region has wonderful lush countryside and a plethora of rivers and lakes.

Surround by farmland, woods, lakes and rivers la Maison des Fleurs it is an ideal escape if you want to fish, walk, cycle, sail, horse-ride or just simply relax around the pool.

At la Maison des Fleurs we offer all our guests a warm and friendly welcome, with as much or as little help and assistance as required.

(The origin of the name 'Millevaches' is thought to be 'a thousand springs', not a thousand cows; although there are plenty grazing in the fields!)
